Matterworks is an artist-led digital fabrication studio. We turn digital files into physical objects in resin, bronze and stainless steel through 3D printing, mold making, casting and metal fabrication. From sculpture to custom forms, we develop the production approach around each project, combining digital precision with skilled hand finishing.
RESIN FABRICATION
Sculpture in printed resin, epoxy and fiberglass, assembled and finished by hand.

Bronze and stainless-steel casting, metal fabrication, welding and polishing.

Matterworks grew out of Katz Studio’s sculpture practice and the challenges of making its own work. That experience shapes how we collaborate with other artists: understanding the form, testing how it can be built, and giving the surface as much attention as the structure. We turn digital files into physical objects, combining 3D printing, mold making, casting and metal fabrication with skilled hand finishing.
